Valentine’s Day: At Home Edition

Staying At Home Is Way Better Than Going Out To Crowded Restaurants.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and this year, why not skip the crowded restaurants and overpriced menus? Instead let’s create a cozy and romantic celebration at home that’s just as special… if not more! Having an at home Valentine’s Day can be intimate, budget-friendly and full of love.

The magic starts with the setup! Turn your space into a romantic oasis with some simple touches like:

Lights. String some fairy lights, light candles and create some ambience for a warm glow.

Decor. Add fresh flowers, rose petals, handwritten notes, etc. scattered around.

Music. Create a playlist of your favorite love songs, instrumentals or even songs that just remind you of your partner.

Cooking together can be a romantic activity just in itself! There’s so many options:

DIY Pizza Night: Shape your dough into hearts, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!  

Fancy Feast at Home: Cook a restaurant-style dish like steak, risotto, or your favorite pasta. Pair it with your favorite wine or sparkling drink.

Valentine’s Day is all about connecting, so plan an activity that feels meaningful to the both of you:  

Game Night: Pull out your favorite board games or card games for a lighthearted competition.  

Movie Marathon: Pick a lineup of romantic comedies, classic love stories, or even cheesy Hallmark movies. Don’t forget the snacks!  

Creative Projects: Write love letters to each other, paint canvases, or put together a scrapbook of your favorite memories. 

Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures that mean the most.

Surprise your loved one with breakfast in bed.  

Leave sticky notes with sweet messages around the house.  

End the evening with a heartfelt toast to what makes your relationship special.
